“Be kind; everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." This is a great quote, and one that I have to remind myself of from time to time. In the blog post linked below, David shares how a small, kind action made a big difference in his day. He calls it an ‘experience of matter and a connection with a loving soul’. As employees in the credit union industry, we are working with people on a daily basis. What can we do to make them feel like they really matter? Share in the comments below!
I encourage you to read this blog, written by David Woods Bartley, who will be the presenter at our first ICUL Manager’s Roundtable coming up on February 10, 2021. David is a mental health advocate and has an amazing story to share. He will talk with event attendees about how to use connections to create belonging, retain talent, and increase productivity.
