Murray Williams | President & CEO
Our fearless leader, forward thinking, diehard Iowa State Cyclones fan Murray Williams runs the ICUL show as President and CEO. Murray kicked off his career with ICUL and its family of companies in 1996. His first role was as a Marketing Specialist for an ICUL subsidiary. He rose to Director of Public Affairs and then jumped into the role of Director of Strategic Alliances and Public Affairs in 2004. He wasn’t done there, rising to the challenges of Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and now CEO of ICUL and AMC. Talk about a go getter. Murray is married to a beautiful wife and they have 3 children and their loved golden retriever. As if he isn’t busy enough, Murray has completed multiple Harvard programs, volunteers as the President of the Des Moines Social Club’s Board of Directors, serves many roles within the credit union industry and still finds time to support his beloved Cyclones.
Jim Niederhauser | Chief Operating Officer
Navigator of the ship, lover of credit unions, relationship builder Jim Niederhauser has dedicated his career to credit unions. Jim began working for ICUL in 1983 as Product Manager of Consulting Services. From 1994 to 2007 he directly served the members as CEO of what is now Premier Credit Union. Jim stayed connected to ICUL during that time, serving at the ICUL Stabilization Fund Chair, Iowa Council of Credit Union Executive Society Chair, PolicyWorks Board Member and ICUL Business and Development Council Member. Jim returned to ICUL to lead the Member Services Team. He is now the Chief Operating Officer. Jim is an invaluable piece of the ICUL puzzle, providing strategic oversight to organizational operations while managing consulting and professional development projects. Even though he is a UNI grad and fan, you can often find Jim and Murray discussing the latest Iowa State game. If you were to ask Jim what the best gift the credit union industry has ever given him, he would say his wife, Terri. Jim and Terri are very proud of their children and are new grandparents to an adorable baby boy, Max James Niederhauser.
Andrea Dose | Director of Member Services
True leader, inspirational thinker, goal achiever. Inspired by the brightly colored books surrounding her desk, Andrea Dose is a hands on, motivating leader who thinks beyond the here and now. Andrea started her career in banking almost two decades ago yet has been in sales since the age of 8 where she went door to door selling Sunshine Sales Club Cards. Her motivation was to become the proud owner of a parcheesi, checker and chess game board system; she only needed to sell 100 boxes of cards (and of course she did). Andrea has a true passion for lending and making big dreams become everyday realities. Her favorite part of her role as ICUL's Director of Member Services involves getting to the heart of matters and finding solutions for organizations and their leaders who make things happen. Outside of work, you can find Andrea attending her daughter’s show choir performances, cheering on her son at football games or spoiling her adorable pup Toby.
Jodi Allen | Member Services Consultant
Jodi Allen? She's the strength magnifier, candid engager, resiliently genuine woman who is leading the young credit union professional charge in Iowa. Jodi grew up on a farm outside the small town of Stanton, Iowa. She is a graduate of Iowa State University and is a proud Cyclone alum. In 2006, Jodi started in the financial services industry as a teller. She found her love for credit unions in 2008 when she began working in the HR and Training department at Community Choice Credit Union. In 2014, Jodi joined the AMC family of companies as a Recruiter, and she is currently the Member Services Consultant for ICUL. Jodi loves working with people and is passionate about developing strong leaders. She enjoys seeing the professional growth and lifelong connections that are made because of the opportunities that ELC provides. Outside of work, you'll find Jodi reading a book, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with her husband and twin daughters.
Stephanie Cox | Education Events Manager
Idea explorer, invaluably enthusiastic Stephanie Cox is our savvy problem solver who seamlessly juggles events to provide exceptional educational experiences for credit union professionals. She graduated from Iowa State University (are you seeing a pattern here?) in 2016. Stephanie previously worked for AMC supporting events across the family of companies, but has now found her way to the ICUL team. She started as Events Coordinator, and was recently promoted to Education Events Manager. Stephanie's favorite thing about her job is watching ideas the ICUL team has been working on come to life! Stephanie produces all of the ICUL events on the calendar. She loves to travel, has a cat named Avery and is at her happiest on any patio in the summertime.
Lisa Chicchelly | Senior Administrative Assistant
Lisa Chicchelly is the wonderful woman providing unending support to the ICUL team. She keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes and makes sure everyone has what they need and is where they need to be! After working in the insurance industry for many years, Lisa joined our team in March 2018 just days before our descent on the Capitol to rally for credit unions to our legislators. (What a fun few days, right?!) Outside of work you will find Lisa on a bike trail somewhere in the state or working in her backyard gardens. She also enjoys spending time with her dog Gemma.
